In the field of building and public works, the decomposition of the overall price (DPGF) is a document detailing the amount or cost of an act of appointment in a construction contrat.

It differs from a table of unit prices (BPU) and a bill of quantities with estimate (DQE) in that it is global and uses aggregate prices. In the case of a BPU, all prices are per unit and the company must list the value of the price. A DQE defines estimated quantities. The unit price x quantity = estimate offered from a company as a price.

For example, works can be described in a DPGF as the construction of an entrance hall. In the BPU, the works will be described with detail of the price, for example, site installation, upgrade flooring, scraping the ceiling...
